ICCMC
Very Rev. Dr. Peter Short, Rev. Stewart Hunter, and Rev. Dr. Karen Hamilton, members of the ICCMC, attended the installation of BGen Stan Johnstone as Chaplain General of the Canadian Forces.
The purpose of the ICCMC is to support the Chaplain Branch in its mission in the unique context of the Canadian Forces, by being the body through which the faith communities of Canada exercise their support to the CF through the provision of chaplains to the CF and at the same time represent the work of the Chaplain Branch to those faith communities. Members of the community represent the faith groups of serving chaplains. In the role of provision of religious oversight of the ministry of chaplains, the ICCMC provides advice to the Chaplain General and the MND.
